Discovering Rock Guitar
From his legendary guitar solo on Gerry Rafferty’s 'Baker Street' to his nylon-string guitar lines on George Michael's 'Careless Whisper', guitar session legend Hugh Burns has played on many hit records with pop’s nobility from Paul McCartney to Michael Jackson, plus on a huge array of blockbuster film scores. Hugh will demonstrate guitar techniques with excerpts from his book ‘Discovering Rock Guitar’.

Venue and Times
The venue will be the University of West London, Ealing, London W5 5RF. There is free car parking nearby on Sundays, as well as good train and underground connections nearby. There is easy access from Heathrow airport. Full travel details will be sent upon receipt of this booking form.
Refreshments will be provided for all participants on arrival at no extra
cost. (Participants can purchase sandwiches and snacks for lunch, and additional
refreshments throughout the day at the university canteen.)
The conference will open at 10 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. This should enable
most delegates to attend without the need for overnight accommodation.
