RGT Acoustic and Bass Guitar Diplomas

RGT has launched a range of specialist teaching qualifications for acoustic and bass guitar teachers.

The Diplomas are awarded in conjunction with London College of Music Exams and are accredited by Thames Valley University and recognised by the DCSF (Dept. for Children, Schools and Families) as a recognised qualification.

There are three Teaching Diplomas available: DipLCM (TD) – Teaching Diploma of the London College of Music, ALCM(TD) – Associate Teaching Diploma of the London College of Music and LLCM(TD) – Licentiate Teaching Diploma of the London College of Music. Successful candidates are legally entitled to append the appropriate letters to their name.

The Diplomas reflect the specific musical and technical skills teachers need, but focus primarily on the ability to ‘teach’ bass or acoustic guitar.

RGT Teaching Diplomas for electric guitarists have been available since 2008.
